Advertising will take place by posting agendas and notices to the Colonial Heights Home Web Page, to the entrance of the Colonial Heights School Administration Office, as well as by notifying the local Progress Index Newspaper. Questions regarding public notice and the advertising of these meetings should be directed to the Clerk of the School Board by calling (804)524-3400 ext. 4610.

Meeting agendas are posted at the School Administration Office and on the Colonial Heights School Division Website at least 3 days in advance (a called meeting may be the exception, in which public notification will occur as soon as possible).

Public Comments at School Board Meetings

The agenda for School Board meetings may include a scheduled time for public comments. Any member of the public addressing the Board shall approach the lectern, give his name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record, and address the Board as a body rather than speak to any member. Unless further time is granted by the Board, any member of the public shall address the Board for a maximum of five (5) minutes, regardless of the number of issues he desires to discuss.
