Principal

Mrs. White served as the LES Assistant Principal from 2019 to 2023. She came to us from Henrico County Public Schools where she served for more than 20 years as a bus driver, cafeteria monitor, classroom teacher, Title I math coach and resource teacher. She and her husband, Thomas have two grown sons, Jonathan and Aaron, who both served in the United States Army. Mrs. White stays very busy serving in her church as a praise and worship leader and teacher. In her spare time, she loves computer graphics, drawing and binge-watching superhero movies.

Assistant Principal

Dr. Rose is a native of Southampton County, Virginia. After graduating from Southampton High School, she attended Hampton University where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Before joining the Colonial Heights Public School family, she served as a building principal, assistant principal, activities director, and math teacher in Southampton County Public Schools. She earned her Master's in educational leadership from Regent University. In November 2023, she earned her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. Dr. Rose is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and was inducted into the National Registries Women of Distinction in 2023.
